This is brief Bücker history written by Bruno Schmück:
Bücker was one of the best German manufacterers,always using engines from good suppliers.The frames were manufactered in his own factory with high quality. The wheels, electric equipment and gearboxes were also supplier parts.
From 1922 to 1927 - Manufactering of frames and using of engines as: Grade, Bekamo, Villiers, Blackburne, Columbus, 100....350 ccm
From 1928 to 1933: Columbus, MAG and JAP. 200, 350, 500, 600, 750, 1000 ccm racing!
From 1933 to 1939: Columbus, 200, 350, 500, 600 ccm. Sachs 98 ccm & ILO 118 ccm.
From 1948 to 1958: Only ILO 2 stroke, 125, 175, 200, 250 ccm twin.
Total No. produced: appr. 10000.
Racing experience since 1922 with Villiers 175 ccm, Columbus 500 sidecar and from 1931 especially with the JAP POR 250 ccm racing, and winner of the German mastership 1949!
There are still appr. 100 machines existing from 1922 to 1958.
A register is made with frame & engine numbers for identification.
